TBC Live – Prize Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all competitions, challenges, and promotions (collectively, “Promotions”) run by TBC Live Pty Ltd (“TBC Live”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in any Promotion, you agree to these Terms. Competition opens 1st February 2025 at 9:00am AEST and concluded 8th October 2025 at 9am AEST or until all Prizes have been redeemed, in accordance with these Rules (‘Promotion’)

These Terms comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and relevant state and territory gaming laws.

2. Definitions

Event Winner: The highest-scoring participant in an individual NRL game during the regular season (204 games in total).
Weekly Winner: The participant who accumulates the most event points (Coins) over a single weekend.
Weekly Footy IQ: A calculated score based on Tipping, prediction Accuracy and Boldness, and Play Score (Accurate and Bold Created Predictions).
SZN (Seasonal Mini-Series): A 5-week competition period, reduced to three weeks in the last 3 rounds of the season and the standalone Finals SZN.
Season: The entire NRL season, concluding with the Grand Final.
SZN IQ: An algorithmic ranking of player performance within a SZN period.
State of Origin (SOO): The State of Origin period from Game 1 to Game 2.
Finals Series: The 10 NRL finals games.
Prizes: Rewards provided by TBC Live to eligible winners as specified in these Terms.
Winners: Participants ranked on the TBC Live Leaderboards, which are publicly visible.
Other Promotions: Additional incentives and bonuses offered by TBC Live outside these predefined prizes.
NRL Rounds: The regular season rounds based on the NRL draw and the finals series

3. Prize Categories & Eligibility

3.1 Category 1: Event, Weekly, and Weekly IQ Winners

Frequency: Weekly (per round with dates outlined in schedule 5. Prize Schedule Table)
Prize: Automatic entry into the Grand Final Ticket Draw.
Qualification: Must win the relevant leaderboard on the TBC Live app.
Dates of Competition: 27/02 to 08/10
Game classification: Game of Skill and Game of Chance
Estimated Value: $600

3.2 Category 2: SZN IQ Winner

Frequency: Every 5 weeks (SZN cycle in price table schedule 5. Prize Schedule Table).
Dates of Competition: 27/02 to 08/10
Game classification: Game of Skill
Prize: May include Magic Round tickets, SOO tickets, Grand Final tickets, Jerseys or gift vouchers.
Estimated Value: $1,750 (total) / $250 (Individual)
Qualification: Must top the SZN IQ leaderboard
From SZN 2 onward, winners may be required to hold a verified Swyftx account for eligibility. Verification methods will be confirmed prior to activation.

3.3 Category 3: “Swyftx” TBC Live Tipping Competition

Frequency: Full NRL Season
Prize: Grand Final tickets, $1,000 in cryptocurrency, and an NRL jersey.
Dates of Competition: 27/02 to 08/10
Game classification: Game of Skill
Estimated Value: $1,500
Qualification:
Must win the TBC Live Tipping Competition leaderboard.
Must hold a verified Swyftx account.

3.4 Category 4: Tipping League Creation Bonus

Duration and End Date: From February 1 – End of SZN1 (02/04)

Estimated Value: Variable and capped at $5k (total spend) / $150 (individually)

Eligibility:

League must meet the minimum required members.
At least 49% of league members must be unique players.
Leagues with 20%–49% unique players may still qualify if 80% remain active until the end of the season.

Prize Allocation:

Jerseys: First 50 leagues reaching 40+ members.
Hats: First 100 leagues reaching 20+ members.
Keyrings: First 150 leagues reaching 10+ members.
Each league is eligible for only one prize.

Account & League Requirements:

Only verified accounts with a valid email and phone number are eligible.
Participants may join multiple leagues.

Prize Redemption:

Winners will be contacted via their TBC Live registered email.
Winners must confirm their details within two weeks.
If a winner cannot be contacted after three attempts, the prize is forfeited.
The season officially ends after the Grand Final.

4. General Participation Rules

To maintain fair play and integrity, all participants must adhere to these rules:

4.1 Fair Play and Conduct

Integrity First: Any attempt to manipulate game outcomes or leaderboards will result in disqualification.
Challenge with Caution: Players may dispute results, but excessive or disruptive challenges will result in exclusion.
No Fraudulent Activity: Participants creating fake predictions, bot accounts, or colluding to manipulate results will be removed.

4.2 Account Rules

Legitimate Participation: Only verified accounts with a valid email and phone number are eligible for prizes.
Bot Accounts: Automated or AI-generated accounts are strictly banned.
Duplicate Accounts: Players must verify their number to claim any prize.

4.3 Prize Terms

Non-Transferable: Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
Substitutions: If a listed prize becomes unavailable, TBC Live reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal value.
Tax Responsibilities: Winners are responsible for any tax obligations related to their prize.

No Purchase Necessary: Participation in TBC Live competitions does not require a purchase.
Technical Issues: TBC Live is not responsible for technical malfunctions affecting competition results.
Changes & Updates: TBC Live reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time but will honour all awarded prizes.
Swyftx:
To enter this Promotion and receive the $1,000 crypto reward, you must:

a. be over the age of 18;

b. be a resident of Australia (residents of Australian Capital Territory will receive fiat equivalent); and

c. be a verified customer of Swyftx; and

d. comply with any reasonable request of Swyftx.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Participants submit to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
